The University of London LLB (honours) International Programmes announced their result this week and Programme Director Simon Askey congratulated Pakistan, as out of 10 international world toppers receiving first class honours distinctions in their degree, 3 were from Pakistan.
Ms Zunaira Shahid, Ms Zainab Samantash and Ms Aaima Asad were the three Pakistani students who have achieved this global recognition. The School of International Law, a law college located in Islamabad, has broken the world record as being the only Pakistani institute that has had 2 students achieve this distinction in the same year, says a press release.
Ms Zunaira and Ms Zainab, both students of this institute, credit their college environment and their faculty for helping them attain this award. Zainab attributes her success to hard work, the support of her parents and family and the School of International Law "for providing its students with the most conducive environment and bringing together the most amazing teachers."
School of International Law Principal Nida Tareen said, "Zainab and Zunaira have of course set a ‘world record’ for us as no Pakistani institute has ever produced two first class honours in the same year."
