ISLAMABAD: The opposition Rahber Committee Thursday announced to hold countrywide protest demonstrations against the government from Friday (today).
Akram Khan Durrani, Convener Rahber Committee, said here. Durrani made the announcement after the JUI-F announced end to Plan-B under which roads and highways in different parts of the country were blocked. The countrywide protest demonstrations today is part of Plan-C. Durrani asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign on moral grounds.
He said all national institutions were disappointed with government performance adding that the nation will soon hear good news. He said the PTI could no longer hide behind courts in the foreign funding case and its government will end after a verdict by the ECP. Durrani maintained that farmers, businessmen and doctors were all protesting against the incumbent government. He said the purpose and benefit of the sit-in will shortly be unveiled before the masses.
