Two die as roof caves in at Industrial Estate

PESHAWAR: Two persons were killed and as many wounded in a roof collapse incident in Hayatabad on Wednesday, officials said. The officials said two labourers Naik Mohammad and Bilal died while another two were shifted to a hospital in a wounded condition when an under-construction building caved in at the Industrial Estate in Hayatabad. They added that the rescuers carried out a two-hour operation to retrieve the bodies and those wounded from the rubble. Meanwhile, KP Economic Zones Development and Management Company regretted the death of its employee in the incident. The contractor of the building also died as a result while one person was seriously wounded.
