Registration of 50 campuses cancelled

LAHORE:The District Registering Authority (DRA) Lahore of the School Education Department (SED) Punjab has cancelled registration of 50 campuses of private schools for not issuing revised fee challans to students.

Punjab Schools Minister Murad Raas put the names of the schools on social media. Earlier on Nov 12, the DRA Lahore had cancelled registration of 29 campuses of private schools of the provincial metropolis for not issuing revised fee challans as per the directions of Supreme Court of Pakistan.

health projects: Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid chaired a meeting at SH&ME Department here on Monday. Last government did not take any step to upgrade government hospitals, she said and added that extension of government to combat the medical facilities is very important. We are also completing the developmental projects of last governments. MS of all hospitals should monitor these projects themselves, she said.

Dr Yasmeen Rashid reviewed the progress of development projects of up-gradation of government hospitals of Rawalpindi division. Special Secretary Nadir Chatha and Addl Secretary Dr Asif briefed the minister about the progress of development projects.

Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid said that a review meeting will be held on regular basis to monitor developmental projects. All officers are directed to get all development projects completed within time period. Completion of these projects will create best medical facilities for the patients.
