CHARSADDA: Two persons were shot dead and two others, including a woman sustained injuries, when rivals fired at a car near Malkadher on Mardan Road on Sunday, sources said.
The sources said that Malang Jan along with his family was heading to Charsadda from Peshawar when his rivals ambushed the car near Malkadher.
He and his son Abdulllah were killed on the spot while his wife Shakeela Bibi and his other son Tariq sustained injuries.
They were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Charsadda wherefrom the injured were shifted to a hospital in Peshawar due to their precarious condition.
The motive behind the dual murder was stated to be a matrimonial issue.
The police registered the case against the rivals, including Sharbat Khan and Riaz Khan and started investigation.
