CHITRAL: The Chitral police distributed relief items, including ration, among the flood victims in Bamburate area in Kalash valley on Thursday.
Talking to The News, District Police Officer (DPO) ?Chitral Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat said that the almost all the police personnel, from constable to DPO, had made contribution out of their salaries and arranged relief package for the flood affected people.
He said that he along with other senior officers led 200 police personnel to the far-flung flood affected area of Bamburate. The DPO said that the distance was covered in three hours on foot through the damaged and rugged routes to reach the destination.
