Man kills daughter

HAFIZABAD: A man axed to death his married daughter at Thattha Gahra village on Friday.
Umm-e-Laila had contracted marriage with Ghulam Abbas of Mubarik Colony about two years ago. The woman developed differences with her husband and now she was residing in the house of his father accused Muhammad Ismail, which had infuriated the accused. On the day of the incident, the accused and her daughter exchanged hot words on the same issue. Later, the accused allegedly axed her to death. Police have registered a case.
VALUABLES LOOTED: A dacoity incident was reported at Mohallah Qadirabad on Friday.
Three dacoits entered the house of Ghulam Abbas, an employee in the police department, and looted ornaments, cash and other valuables.
