PESHAWAR: The Provincial Management Service (PMS) officers on observed symbolic strike against the decision of the Establishment Department to undertake in-service training programme.
A press release of the Provincial Management Service (PMS) Officers Association said that all the 600 PCS/PMS officers from BS-17 to BS-21, at the Secretariat, district administration and Fata Secretariat observed the token strike whereby they didn’t work from 10 o’clock to 12 o’clock and wore black armbands. It said the token strike would also be observed on Monday. However, if the government didn’t respond positively, a complete pen-down would be observed across the province and no officer would attend the office, the release said.
