Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has launched the E-Register programme for its school partners attached under Education Voucher Scheme (EVS). The pilot project has been launched from Lahore and will be expanded to other districts.
According to a handout issued on Thursday, spokesman for Punjab Education Foundation (PEF), in a press statement, said the partnering EVS schools were directed to submit their monthly attendance maximum by 5th of every month after the summer vocations. PEF has set up helpline for guiding the partners about data entry. The EVS partners are asked to contact on 042-99268250 and 35772032 in case of any query.
The Education Voucher Scheme is a beneficial programme for arranging the free education of needy children at PEF partner schools of choice. More than 321000 vouchers have been issued to needy male and female children in 36 districts of the province to study free of cost at EVS partnering schools, concluded the spokesman.
