KARACHI: Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited (FFBL) has announced a profit-after-tax of Rs660.243 million, translating into the earnings per share (EPS) of 71 paisas for the quarter ended June 30, 2015. The results came above market expectations through lower than the same quarter last year where the company had posted a profit of Rs721.034 million and EPS of 77 paisas. The company also declared an interim cash dividend of 75 paisas per share for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
The sales revenue during the quarter stood at Rs12.194 billion as compared to the sales of Rs9.708 billion in the same period last year. For the half-year ended June 30, 2015, FFBL’s profit stood at Rs758.365 million, translating into EPS of 81 paisas.
The other income stood at Rs745.919 million in the half-year as compared to Rs349.916 million last year.
