Karachi Saira Bibi, 55, was stabbed to death at her house in Saddat Colony, Shah Faisal Colony. SHO Ijaz Ahmed said Saira was a widow who lived with her two sons. Her eldest son lives in Punjab. The two brothers went out to buy household items and when they returned, they found their mother lying dead on the floor. They said their neighbour Naveed, a drug-addict, had broken into their house and stabbed their mother. The SHO said police had lodged an FIR against Naveed.
