Mutahidda Mahaz Asataza Punjab (MMAP) on Wednesday announced starting afresh its protest campaign against the government under “Save Education Movement” from August 28.
An important meeting of MMAP presided over by its chairman Tariq Mahmood was held here on Wednesday which decided to start the movement once again against the government for, what the meeting participants observed, its anti-teachers and anti-education policies. Punjab Teachers Union (PTU) President Hafiz Ghulam Mohyuddin, Kashif Shahzad, Hafiz Abdul Nasir and others attended the meeting.
The meeting participants expressed concerns over issuance of show cause notices to schoolteachers by School Education Department (SED) Punjab allegedly over petty issues.
