Apart from Benazir Bhutto Road, the roads leading to markets in Saddar, Tench Bhata, Raja Bazaar, Commercial Market, Banni Chowk and Rawal Road received heavy traffic on ‘Chand Raat’.
After ‘Fajr’ prayers, all graveyards in city and cantonment areas started receiving people who offered ‘fateha’ and recited holy verses from the Quran on the graves of their loved ones on the first day of Eid.
On the first and second day of Eid, episodes of rain spells made weather more pleasant convincing city dwellers to come out to celebrate Eid and to enjoy pleasant weather.
Almost all public parks in town remained heavily crowded on the first and second day of Eid while almost all local restaurants, pan shops, Bar B Q and fast food points in town received greater number of customers particularly from evening till late in the night.
