Like other parts of Punjab, Eidul Fitr prayers will be offered in thousands of mosques of Lahore where millions of Muslims will attend the congregation according to the scheduled timings today (Saturday).
Largest congregation of Eidul Fitr prayers will be held at historic Badshahi Masjid where Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will lead the prayers at 8:30am.
Besides, large gathering of people is expected at Data Darbar Masjid, Gaddafi Stadium, Racecourse Ground, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Nasser Bagh and Jamia Naeemia. Qari Mohammad Nasir Tariq will lead the prayers at Ittefaq Masjid H Block, Model Town, situated near the residence of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif at 7am. Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, the Jamatud Daawa Ameer will lead the prayers at Gaddafi Stadium at 7am whereas at Masjid Wazir Khan, Syed Aqeel Bokhari will lead the prayers.
Hafiz Akif Saeed will lead the prayers at Daarusalam, Bagh-e-Jinnah (Lawrence Garden) at 6am. At Data Darbar Masjid, Eidul Fitr prayers will be offered at 8:30am. At Jamia Hizb-ul-Ahnaf, Data Darbar Road, Maulana Syed Ashraf Rizi will lead the prayers. At Nasser Bagh, Allama Kazim Naqvi will lead the prayers at 8:30am.
Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch will lead the prayers at JI headquarters Mansoora at 8:30am. Deputy Ameer JI Hafiz Mohammad Idrees will address the gathering and lead prayers at L Block Model Town at 7am whereas Maulana Hafiz Fazal-ur-Raheem will lead the prayers at Jamia Ashrafia at 7:30am.
Maulana Raghib Naeem, head of Jamia Naeemia, near Garhi Shahu will lead the prayers at 6:45am. Hafiz Abdul Ghaffar Ropri will lead the prayers at Racecourse Ground at 7am. At Markaz-e-Tayyaba, Muridke, Prof Zafar Iqbal will lead the prayers at 6:00am.
Hafiz Abdul Majid Salfi will lead the prayers at Ideal Park, Khokhar Chowk, College Road, Township.
At 6:15am, Eidul Fitr prayers will be offered in the mosques, including Hajveri Housing Scheme masjid, Markaz Islami Jamia Masjid Taqwa, Qainchi Amar Sadhu Chowk, Sheranwala Bagh mosque.
At 6:30am, prayers will be offered at car parking chowk, Shalamar Bagh, Baghbanpura, Jamia Masjid Ayesha Siddiqa, Venice Housing Scheme, Jamia Masjid Mohammadi, Sher Colony, Raiwind, Markaz al Quba, Township, Jamia Masjid Mohammadi, Gulbahar Colony, Walton Road, Jamia Masjid Quba, near Social Welfare Umar Chowk, Green Town. At 6:45am, Eidul Fitr prayers will be offered at Car Parking, Moon Market, Gulshan Ravi, Govt Degree College Shahdara and Jamia Masjid Al Rabat.
At 7am, prayers will be offered at Jamia Masjid Sultani, Sultanpura, Jamia Masjid Hassan, P Block, Sabzazar, Jamia Masjid Umul Qura, G Block, Sabzazar, Jamia Masjid Al Qadsia, University Ground, Chowburji, Masjid Riaz-ul-Jannat, Gulistan Town, Gujjarpura, Shadbagh.
At 7:15am, gatherings will take place at Government High School, Mozang Adda, Jamia Masjid Al Bar, Dayal House, Government High School, Atokay Awan.
At 7:30am, Eidul Fitr prayers will be offered at Jamia Masjid Al Feroze Hanfia, Sharif Park, Multan Road, Jamia Masjid Tayyaba, Luddhar, Bedian Road, Ghurki Hospital, Jallo, Jamia Masjid Sher-e-Bangal Colony, Madina Masjid, Batti Chowk and Qari Hameed-ud-Din will lead the prayers at Jamia Masjid Mian Ranjha Dil Muhammad Road Lahore.
At Jamia Siddiqia, Hanfia Nooria, Swami Nagar Road, Ghoray Shah whereas at Bhabkowal, Shahdara, prayers will be offered at 8am.
