Imran to reach Mansehra today to finalise name

MANSEHRA: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is due here today (Monday) to contact party workers before finalising the name of contender for office of Mansehra district nazim as four aspirants have applied for the office.
“Yes, Imran Khan has to recommend the name of a suitable contender for the district nazim and parliamentary committee would announce it,” said Shafahat Ali, the former district president of PTI and a contender for the office of district nazim.
Sources in the party said that Imran Khan would first visit Perhanna area and plant a sapling and then go to Doraha area to meet party workers and local leaders. Four party candidates, Shafahat Ali, Shehryar Khan, the nephew of Senator Azam Khan Swati, Shahid Rafique and Fida Mohammad Khan have submitted credentials along with Rs30,000 each with parliamentary board to be nominated as party contender for the office of district nazim.
