KARACHI: Pakistan will participate in the World Judo Championships to be held from August 20-31 in Astana, Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) announced on Friday.
“This is a major event for the upcoming 2016 Rio Olympics,” PJF said in a press release.
“It has been decided that four male and two female judokas will be announced in the first week of August,” it added.
PJF chief Rana Shujaat Ali said the camp would be resumed after Eid-ul-Fitr. Iranian coach Sajjad Kazemi, who is in Iran these days, will join the camp on August 1.
