Lahore Arts Council (LAC) organised a condolence reference in the memory of Abdullah Hussain, the renowned writer of the sub-continent, at the Alhamra Hall Tuesday.
Executive Director LAC Capt. (R) Atta Mohammad Khan presented the welcome address and said death of such an iconic figure was a great loss to Urdu language. Atta-ul-Haq Qasmi said that no writer could go forward without reading his works. Asghar Nadeem Syed, renowned Cartoonist Javed Iqbal, Dr Qasim Bheegue, Rauf Tahir, Sughra Sadaf, Sofia Baidar, Amjad Islam Amjad, Atta-ur-Rehman, Bushra Ejaz, Masood Ashar and other personalities attended the reference.
