RAW’s interference

This refers to the news report, ‘Meddling by India in Pakistan to be raised at UN’ (June 30). One fully agrees with this decision. The issue should be internationalised and raised at the UN.
The matter also calls for deep introspection. How did RAW’s activities go unnoticed for such a long time by our intelligence agencies? The failure requires serious investigation; and those responsible should be held accountable. Moreover, our intelligence agencies, which number about 26 with overlapping functions, need to be revamped on most modern lines so that such lapses do not recur.
