National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has initiated an inquiry against Assistant Commissioner Kahror Pakka on account of making properties worth millions of rupees from illegal sources.
A citizen had filed an application with the NAB alleging that AC Kahror Pakka Zafarullah made properties worth millions of rupees from illegal sources. He also alleged that Zafarullah got registered the properties in the name of his son and wife.
Transferred: The Punjab government has issued a notification of transfer and posting of following officers on Friday.
According to the notification Professor Dr. Nadeem Hayat Malik of Cardiology has been posted as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Punjab Institute of Cardiology. District Monitoring Officer (DMO) Mianwali Ali Atif has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Noorpur Thal, General Assistant Revenue Multan Mohammed Kashif as Assistant Commissioner Multan, Mohammed Amir Nazir Colony Assistant Bhakkar as Assistant Commissioner Kalurkot, DMO Chakwal Asif Iqbal as Assistant Commissioner Chiniot and Asif Rahim (awaiting posting) as Assistant Commissioner Chak Jhumra.
