Islamabad: Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) has invited the students of age 12 to 16 for Naat and Qirat competition in connection with the holy month of Ramazan.
The Council will hold auditions of the students from various educational institutions of twin cities on July 6 and 7 while the final competition will be held on July 8, the winning students will be given cash prizes whereas the others will get certificates.
The participants will present ‘Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool’ (Peace Be Upon Him) and ‘Darood-o-Salam’ while the speakers will also speak on Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH).
The event aims at highlighting the significance of Ramazan and its importance for the Muslims. It will also focus on the message of tolerance, understanding and respect for humanity, said Director General, PNCA, Muhammad Naeem while talking to APP.
“Such occasions give an opportunity to the Muslims for recalling the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) as the entire life of Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a beacon and worthy of emulation.
