Islamabad: The Islamabad campus of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology continues to be in headlines for all the wrong reasons.
After remaining closed from June 10 to June 22 after an armed clash between two student groups, it has now suspended educational activities for around a week over fresh disturbance by one of the student groups.
The commotion also led to the cancellation of an examination paper.
According to the administration, the campus will resume classes on Monday (July 4).
It is however, feared the campus closure would be extended in case protesting students didn’t calm.
Protesters said they wanted the administration to withdraw cases of violence against their colleagues.
