Technical training

At the two-day Skills Expo and Job Fair-2015 arranged by the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) in Lahore, Shahbaz Sharif stated that the Punjab government has fixed a target of imparting skills on two million youths according to market needs during the next three years.
The chief minister should be appreciated for setting this target. It would be a great achievement if the target were achieved. However, it should be kept in mind that producing skilled manpower will not be enough. Industries and factories should be given some incentive. Otherwise, you will only have a whole lot of frustrated, jobless young people.
