Body formed to probe anomalies in Nowshera hospital
NOWSHERA: The chairman of the Board of Governors (BoG), Qazi Medical Complex, Malik Riaz Awan, on Saturday said he had formed a committee to probe irregularities in the purchase of medicines for the hospital.
Speaking at a press conference here, he said that expired medicines were found at the store of the hospital.
Qazi Medical Complex BoG members Sanaullah, Dr Nasir Idrees, Arif Khattak and others were also present on the occasion.
Malik Riaz Awan said he would discourage nepotism and favouritism to improve the working of the hospital.
He said that those who had any complaint about the hospital should inform him about their grievances. He said that he would not spare the corrupt elements in the hospital.
He dismissed the impression that there was shortage of doctors and paramedics at the hospital. “It needs a good administrator to make the staff members work,” he added.He said that after taking charge he introduced several reforms in the hospital.
