PPP faction celebrates Benazir’s birthday today

ISLAMABAD: The PPP faction headed by Dr Safdar Abbassi and Naheed Khan are organising a function to celebrate the birthday anniversary of Benazir Bhutto today (Saturday) at Liaquat Bagh, where she made her last public speech before martyrdom. The birthday falls on June 21 but this year the date falls during the holy month of Ramazan so the PPP workers were observing it on June 13.
“We are organising a function to observe the birthday anniversary of our leader Shaheed Benazir Bhutto with the workers of the Party who were left in lurch after her martyrdom by the leaders of the PPP. These leaders have restricted the party only to interior Sindh,” said Abbasi.
