Muhammad Ashraf, father of The News reporter Zubair Ashraf, passed away on Friday morning following a brief illness. He was 64.
His funeral prayers were offered at Masjid-e-Shahbaz in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 12. A large number of relatives and journalists attended. The deceased was laid to rest at the Natha Khan Goth graveyard.
His Soyem will be held on Sunday (tomorrow) between 10am and 1pm at Masjid-e-Shahbaz, opposite Bin Hashim Store in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 12.
