Khawaja Asif appears before NAB

RAWALPINDI: The former foreign minister and PML-N leader Khawaja Muhammad Asif appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday to record his statement for allegedly amassing assets beyond known sources of income.
A Combined Investigation Team (CIT) of the NAB Rawalpindi interrogated Asif for one hour and handed him a questionnaire. Talking to the media after appearing before the CIT, Asif said, “It was a good day in the NAB. They asked me questions, which I replied and they also handed me a questionnaire, which I have not seen yet.”
