Vigilance teams of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Monday caught 19 students cheating during their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examinations 2019.
According to BSEK officials, a vigilance team observed mismanagement at the Anam Iqra Public School in Landhi Town’s Labour Colony, while they also caught four candidates who were involved in using unfair means to solve their papers.
At the Government Boys Secondary School No. 2 in Landhi, the board officials detained 15 more students for their alleged involvement in cheating. A fake candidate who was taking the exam instead of the real candidate was also detained by the officials.
During his visit to different examination centres, the BSEK chairman instructed centre superintendents to ensure sufficient supply of drinking water as well as to make alternate arrangements in case of electricity breakdowns.
