KP to launch livelihood scheme for tribal youth
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra has said the provincial government is going to launch the “Insaf Rozgar Scheme” for the merged tribal districts to enable the tribal youth to earn a livelihood with respect and honour. He was talking to a delegation of the tribal youth in Peshawar, said an official handout.
The minister said the KP government in line with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision was paying special attention to the merged districts. He said such steps would bring to an end the sense of deprivation among the people of those areas. Taimur Jhagra said there was no dearth of talent in the tribal youth. There, however, was a need for solid steps to utilise the talent, he added. He said a comprehensive strategy had been evolved for development of the merged districts during the next 10 years.
