Postponed grade 10 Physics paper today

ABBOTTABAD: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Abbottabad notified that paper of Physics Class 10th scheduled for Tuesday was cancelled due to paper leak.

However, the paper will be conducted today (Wednesday). The paper of Islamiat Elective and Islamic History class 10th will be conducted as per date-sheet.

In the meantime, a four-member committee comprising Iftikhar Ahmad as chairman with members, Muhammad Arshad, Kamran Qabool and Ishaq Ahmad Akhunzada has been notified by the Chairperson BISE Dr Shaista Irshad Khan to probe the matter.

The committee has been given task to find out the circumstances of alleged paper leak, determine the interests and motive behind it disclosure, establish the identity of those responsibility and will submit its report within three days.

Chairperson Dr Shaista Irshad while briefing media said that they had timely asked the examination superintendents to suspend the physics paper when they got information about paper leak.

She said, “We will not spare those involved in this act which has disturbed around 36000 students.”
