Suspected robbers injure Minister Sardar Mahar

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Narcotics and a leader of the Grand Democratic Alliance, Sardar Ali Muhammad Mahar, was injured during a robbery attempt at his DHA Phase-4 home in Karachi on Monday night.
Confirming the news report, SSP South Pir Mohammad Shah said the federal minister, who was also former Sindh CM, was injured when he resisted the dacoits who hit the pistol on his head. The SSP said the minister tried to grab one of the robbers who struck the minister with his firearm, injuring him slightly. Luckily, they did not open fire at any of the inmates of the minister’s house.
