PML-N KP hails release of Sharif on bail
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) provincial spokesman Ikhtiar Wali has appreciated the Supreme Court’s decision of granting bail to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and said his party always respected the courts and abided by laws of the land.
In a statement on Tuesday, Ikhtiar Wali said PML-N believed in the rule of law and held in high esteem the judiciary.
He said that Nawaz Sharif bravely faced the controversial joint investigation team (JIT) and charges of what he called baseless allegations.
The government’s treatment with the three-time prime minister of the country would be remembered as a black chapter in the history, he said.
He added that Prime Minister Imran Khan and his ministers were playing politics over the illness of Nawaz Sharif. He said the PTI-led government was on the verge of collapse due to its own weaknesses and blunders.
