Twitter blocks CM spokesman’s account

LAHORE: Social media website twitter Monday blocked the account of Punjab chief minister’s spokesman Shahbaz Gill.

Shahbaz Gill, while talking to media confirmed that his account had been blocked and it had been done on the complaint of Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former premier Nawaz Sharif.

Maryam in her complaint to the twitter had alleged that information regarding the health of the former prime minister was being leaked by Shahbaz Gill whereas Gill held the view that being the spokesman of CM Punjab it was his duty to keep the public informed about Nawaz, who was a prisoner.
