PRCS sets up blood donation camps

Islamabad: All branches of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) have set up blood donation camps throughout the country today to ensure supply of free blood to deserving patients, PRCS Chairman Dr. Saeed Elahi informed at a simple but impressive ceremony held at the National Headquarters here on Friday to celebrate Pakistan Day.
“Today is a day for renewal of our pledge to implement the Resolution of Pakistan. Today, our young generation has been enlightened on how many sacrifices were rendered for the creation of Pakistan on the global map,”
Dr. Saeed and Thomas Gutner hoisted the national flag amid resounding cheers. Special prayers were offered for the progress, prosperity, safety and integrity of the country.
