Time to curb terrorism, says Indian HC
ISLAMABAD: Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan has maintained that ‘crisis’ is over in the ties of Pakistan and India but ‘tension’ still exists.
“It is the time to remove the cause of dangerous development of past in the relationship by addressing the problem of terrorism.” The High Commissioner Ajay Bisaria was talking to The New Thursday at the residence of Turkish Ambassador Mustafa Yurdakul during Sufi and Classic Music evening.
His remarks were in the backdrop of recent standoff between Pakistan and India. The Indian envoy said that situation has much improved in the relationship between Pakistan and India after Pulwama. He was hopeful that no adverse development will take place that could cause ‘acceleration’ in the upcoming days.
The Indian diplomat claimed that India is on watchful alert otherwise things are returning to normalcy. He stressed the need of dealing with the terrorists on faster pace so that they should not create a situation again.
