LAHORE : Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Syed Samsam Bokhari has said the government is committed to giving maximum health facilities to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in jail.
Talking to reporters, the minister said that nobody was barred from meeting Mian Nawaz Sharif on Thursday and the tweet of Maryam Nawaz in this regard was misleading. However, he said it was up to the court to decide whether Mian Nawaz Sharif could be allowed to go abroad or not.
He stated if the court granted permission to the former prime minister to go abroad, the government wouldn’t bar him from it. He said that the statement of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was disappointing for him.
