CTD says two terrorists arrested in DI Khan
PESHAWAR: The Counter-Terrorism Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have arrested two terrorists, including a suicide bomber, and recovered suicide jacket, police uniform and explosives from their custody during an operation in Dera Ismail Khan, officials said on Wednesday.
An official of the CTD headquarters in Peshawar said the police commandoes while acting on a tip-off carried out an operation against terrorists hiding in a house in Jhok Hayat village in Dera Ismail Khan. A suicide bomber Imad from Azad Jammu and Kashmir and another terrorist Sirajuddin from Shamozai were arrested. The CTD also recovered one suicide jacket, two rocket launchers with 12 RPG shells, 12 improvised explosive devices, four hand-grenades, six detonators and uniforms of police were recovered during the action, the official said.
