LAHORE: Young talent performed on stage at Alhamra Unplugged Season II. After the success of Unplugged Season I, Alharma provided another opportunity to record a new season for the sack of quality music with the combination of melodious voices. Vocalists of the Alhamra Unplugged Season performed at Alhamra Arts Council Hall 2 on Tuesday. After the previous successful experience, it was decided to launch Alhamra Unplugged Season II for the promotion for music. In the season, 21 singers participated. Moin, Aleeza, Joy, Rafeel, Salma, Rassab, Rehan, Rimsha, Mumtaz, Sharoon, Waqas, Viqral, Ahmed, Stephan, Areeba Nadeem and Abubakar Javed performed before a large audience. Recording of songs was performed in Alhamra Studio. Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Ather Ali Khan said Alhamra always played a vital role in the promotion of music and arts. “Pakistani vocalists have tremendous approach in the field of music. Alhamra is providing a conducive atmosphere and facilitations to talented singers. Alharma Studio is equipped with modern equipment. Songs presented in Alhamra Unplugged Season II were appreciated by the audience,” he added.
