MANSEHRA: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA Saleh Mohammad Khan has said that King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, the only tertiary care health facility in the district, would soon be provided surgical equipment worth over Rs680 million.
“The government wants to provide better healthcare services to people and soon high-tech surgical equipment and machinery worth more than Rs680 million would be provided to the hospital,” Saleh told a public gathering in Safada village on Sunday. Safada council nazim Basharat Ali Swati also addressed the gathering. The King Abdullah Teaching Hospital was recently handed over to the Health Department on completion of reconstruction works that were required after the devastation of the 2005 earthquake.
“We are going to inaugurate four new electricity feeders and a sub-grid station soon in the district to address low voltage and power outages issues,” he added. Speaking on the occasion, Basharat Ali Swati thanked MNA Saleh Mohammad for taking interest in the completion of natural gas supply project to Safada and its surrounding villages.
