Six Pak shooters to compete in Shotgun World Cup in April
KARACHI: Pakistan’s six shooters will participate in the ISSF World Cup Shotgun in Al-Ain, United Arab Emirates, from April 5-16.
According to the entry list, Usman Chand with Initial Qualifying Score (IQS) of 122 will participate in the skeet event. Usman from Sialkot recently won gold medal in the National Clay Shooting Championship in Karachi in January.
Sindh’s seasoned shooter Khurram Inam will also compete in the skeet event. Khurram has represented Pakistan in Olympics thrice. Ahmad Usman will also take part in skeet event.
Aamer Iqbal (IQS 115), Farrukh Nadeem (IQS 117), and Zafar-ul-Haq will take part in trap event. In trap event, 146 athletes from 59 countries will vie for the honours. There are 122 athletes from 50 countries in the skeet event.
