Ministry looks to UNDP for support on skill development

Islamabad : The task force on skill development has finalised its recommendations, which will be implemented by the Ministry for Education and Professional Training.
"We would like the technical support of UNDP (for implementing the task force's recommendations," Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood told resident representative of UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) in Pakistan Ignacio Artaza during a meeting here.
Education secretary Arshad Mirza also attended the meeting.
The minister said Pakistan faced various challenges in the education sector and that the government was fully committed to resolving them.
