ISLAMABAD: Information and Broadcasting Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Monday alleged that the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had agreed on a ‘charter of reconciliation’ on the blood of Bhutto by meeting former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

Commenting on Bilawal’s meeting with Nawaz at the Kot Lakhpat Jail, the minister charged in a statement that by meeting Nawaz, the PPP leader wanted to politically cash in on this event in the Punjab.

Earlier, reacting to the meeting, the minister tweeted that it was the ‘U-turn of the century’. In a tweet, he posted, "U-Turn of the century: Grandson of Bhutto reunion with Munh Bola Beta of Ziaul Haq.”

The visitor of Nawaz, who was disappointed with his own party PML-N, he continued, was now Bilawal whereas the former prime minister was extremely unhappy with the PML-N. The minister claimed that the opposition was playing politics on the health of Nawaz, as it did not want his treatment and recovery.

On his part, Prime Minister Imran Khan offered the PML-N leader that he could get treatment from wherever he wanted to. “But the opposition is using his ailment as a political project while the outcome of a meeting between two political pessimists will only be pessimism,” he maintained, referring to Bilawal-Nawaz meeting earlier in the day.
