MULTAN: The Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) administration will hold safety seminars/training on March 12 and 13 to minimise the risk of any untoward incident during field work. Mepco Chief Executive Officer Engineer Tahir Mahmood said that safety seminars would be held at the Mepco Headquarters Multan and Bahawalpur operations circles. The CEO issued directions to line staff to ensure the use of safety gadgets during work on lines and directed them to take all precautionary measures for the restoration of electricity after rain. He directed line staff to use T&P and got permit to work (PTW) before start of work and also checked earth from both sides of lines.
