KP reshuffles top bureaucracy
PESHAWAR: The provincial government has reshuffled bureaucracy and ordered transfer and posting of high-ranking officers, including the principal secretary to the chief minister.
According to the notification of the Establishment Department, Zafar Ali Shah (PAS BS-20), who was awaiting posting in the Establishment Department, was posted as secretary, Excise and Taxation Department.
Muhammad Abid Majeed (PCS SG BS-20), who was also awaiting posting in E&A Department, was posted secretary Relief, Rehabilitation and Settlement (RR&S) Department.
Asmatullah Khan (PCS EG BS-20), chairman, Higher Education Regularity Authority, was transferred and posted as secretary, Minerals Development Department.
Shahab Ali Shah (PAS BS-20) secretary, P&D Department, was transferred and posted as principal secretary to chief minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa replacing Muhammad Israr (PCS SG BS-20) who was posted secretary, Agriculture Department, against the vacant post.
Riaz Khan Mahsud (PCS EG BS-20), secretary, Excise and Taxation Department was transferred and posted as commissioner, Malakand against the vacant post.
Khaista Rehman (PCS EG BS-20), secretary, Minerals Development Department, has been directed to repot to Establishment Department while Prof Sajjad All Shah (BS-20), director (Admn) TEVTA has posted as Managing Director, Technical Education and Vocational Training, Authority (TEVTA) Peshawar, against the vacant post, on deputation basis.
Atif Rehman (PAS BS-19), director general, Excise and Taxation, was transferred and posted as secretary, P&D Department, in his own pay and scale.
Asad Ali Khan (BS-19 P&D), Secretary, RR&S Department, was directed to report to P&D Department while Fayaz Ali Shah (PMS BS-19), who was awaiting posting in the E&A Department, was posted as director General, Excise and Taxation in his own pay and scale.
Sardar Asad Haroon (PMS BS-19), additional secretary, Food Department, was transferred and posted as managing director, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Private Schools Regulatory Authority, Peshawar against the vacant post.
Dr. Ambar All Khan (PAS BS-18), who was awaiting posting in E&A Department, was posted as chairman, Higher Education Regularity Authority, in his own pay and scale.
Muhammad Saeedullah (PMS BS-18), additional secretary (Reg.II), Establishment Department, was posted additional secretary, Chief Minister's Secretariat, against the vacant post.
Mir Khawas Khan (PMS BS-18), deputy secretary, Environment Department
(Proceeded on leave) was directed to report to Establishment Department.
Muhammad Anwar Khan Sherani (PMS BS-18) secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Malakand, was posted Deputy Secretary, Environment Department Muhammad Abdullah Shah (PMS BS-18), deputy director, Provincial Services Academy, Peshawar, was posted district officer (F&P) Mansehra against the vacant post.
