UET Senate meets

PESHAWAR: Sixth meeting of the Senate, University of Engineering and Technology, was held at the Governor’s House on Thursday which was chaired by Governor Shah Farman.

UET Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iftikhar Hussain briefed the meeting about the progress and future plans of the university.

After detailed deliberations and discussion on several items on the agenda, various decisions on the academic development and budget were taken.

The Senate approved the University of Engineering and Technology budget for the year 2018-19.

The University annual report for the year 2017-18 was approved as well.

The Senate okayed the minutes of the 5th meeting of the Senate.

Dr Iftikhar assured to lead the university to new horizons with the support of the office of the chancellor and the provincial government.
