10 police officers reshuffled in KP

PESHAWAR: Inspector General of Police Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan on Tuesday ordered transfer and posting of 10 officers.

A notification said Saleem Riaz, SP HQrs, Elite Force Peshawar, was transferred and posted as district police officer (DPO) of Dera Ismail Khan.

Dera Ismail Khan DPO, Muhammad Iqbal, was posted as SSP Operations Central Zone CTD Peshawar and Sohail Khalid, SSP Operations, Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) was closed to Central Police Office Peshawar.

Malik Muhammad Tariq, awaiting posting, was made Deputy Commandant of the Frontier Reserve Police, Peshawar.

The notification said Muhammad Irshad Khan, SP Special Branch, was posted as DPO Bunner. Shahid Ahmad, DPO of Bunner, was named Director, Police School of Public Disorder & Riot Management,Mardan.

Bakht Zada from the PDRM Mardan was made Acting SP of the Upper Swat; Muhammad Tahir Shah was posted as Acting SP Investigation Dera Ismail Khan. Acting SDPO of Wari in Upper Dir, Muhammad Shah, was posted Acting DSP HQrs, Bunner. Zafar Khan, DSP HQrs Bunner, was transferred as SDPO of Wari in Upper Dir.
