Nawaz says making Pakistan strong was his sacred duty

LAHORE: Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Nawaz Sharif has said that it was his sacred duty to strengthen Pakistan and make it a nuclear power.

Talking to PML-N leaders Senator Asif Kirmani, Talal Chaudhry and Amir Maqam, he said strengthening Pakistan has always remained his dream.

He said that it was not a favour but his national duty to make his country a nuclear power, and a strong nation. He said it was also his duty to build motorways.

Mian Nawaz Sharif said that the Pakistan Army had responded to India befittingly.

He said that Pakistan had always talked about peace, as war is no solution to any problem. He said, “Future is bright and hopeful.”
