Lahore: The PIPFA in collaboration with Local Fund Audit Department (Punjab) organized a two days Short Course on “Public Financial Management (PFM). The subject course was held on 15th and 16th February, 2019 at Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, Lahore.
The training course was inaugurated by the Chief Guest of the occasion, Mr. Fareed Mahmood, Deputy Auditor General of Pakistan. The learned guest speakers and practitioners belonging to Public Finance and allied areas shared their valuable experiences and delivered meaningful and thought provoking addresses on the subject area. Among the speakers were Mr. Muhammad Asad Khan (Director Planning & Development, Government of Punjab), Mr. Sami Ullah (Advisor Finance to Provincial Ombudsmen, Punjab), Mr. Mubashir Mahmood (Deputy Controller Military Pensions), Dr. Zahid Iqbal (Professor of Economics, FCC University), Mr. Iftikhar Ahmad (Resource Person of Controller General of Accounts (CGA) Organization, Mr. Aamir Fayyaz (Director Officer of Deputy Auditor General Central) and Mr. Javed Iqbal (Ex. Additional Finance Secretary, Govt. of Punjab & Chief Financial Officer Punjab Investment Board)
The Chief Guest of the closing ceremony of the training course was President PIPFA, Mr. M. Ali Latif – Partner Muniff Ziauddin & Co., Chartered Accountants (Independent Member Firm of BKR International).***
