Man gunned down in Baldia

A 50-year-old man was shot to death in Baldia Town on Tuesday. The body was taken to the Civil Hospital, Karachi for medico-legal formalities and then handed over to the victim’s family for burial.

The Police said that the incident took place in Sector 4-B in the limits of the Saeedabad police station. The deceased, Mushtaq Ali Agha, was near his residence when two men riding a motorcycle shot him multiple times and he died at the spot. The assailants manage to escape following the incident. The police suspected that the incident occurred over a personal enmity.

A case has been registered while an investigation is going on. Separately, the Soldier Bazaar police claimed to have arrested two drug pushers and seized 145 kilograms of hashish during a raid. The suspects were named as Muhammad Manzoor and Lal Muhammad, said a PPI report.
