CJP directs judges to discourage frivolous litigation
KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa on Saturday emphasised on the judges to discourage frivolous litigation at every forum of the judiciary.
Presiding over a meeting of the SHC judges at Sindh High Court, the Chief Justice asked the judges to focus on ways and means for proper case management of the criminal and civil cases for their expeditious disposal as well as those including the revenue matters.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan said frequent adjournment of cases should be discouraged as it is a major cause for the delay in the dispensation of justice.
He directed them to discourage frivolous litigation and asked them to decide the stay order cases at the earliest. Sharing his vast judicial experience as a judge of the high court and the Supreme Court, he provided guidance for the early disposal of cases in the courts.
The Chief Justice of Sindh High Court Justice Ahmed Ali M Sheikh thanked the CJP for his valuable guidance and sharing his long experience with the judges of SHC.
