KP A move into hockey semi-finals

ISLAMABAD: Title favourites Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (A) marched into the semi-finals with a thumping 6-0 win against Sindh (B) in the Inter-Provincial Under-19 Hockey Championship at the Shehnaz Sheikh Stadium on Thursday.
Usman performed a hat-trick with a goal each coming from Usman Khan, Asad and Jibran Hamza to complete the rout.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (A) is to meet Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (B) in the semi-final. The B team got better of Balochistan 2-1. Zareen and Ismail scored one goal each for winners while Younus scored lone goal for losers.
Two Punjab teams also made it to the last four stage. Punjab (A) defeated Punjab (C) 4-2. Punjab (B) edged out Sindh (A) 2-1.
